- Wow - that is a tough starter activity! I have to say it's engaging and I really like the reaction of the class! Appealing to competitiveness is clearly the way to go.
- Great second slide - many people won't have heard of Comcast so the fact they are bigger than Disney is a great, memorable fact.
- Good to list text that Comcast have been involved in
- You could have said more about NBC - a major American TV network with history and influence.
- Excellent details, regarding theme parks and Hulu.
- Very solid presentation with sine key facts - but you needed a plenary to reinforce the learning!
- The starter was engaging but not clear how it linked to Comcast.
Self Reflection
WWW: Successfully achieved the task aim and provided enough information about the company when presenting as well as engaging the audience with the starter activity.
EBI: When speaking about NBC it was briefly spoken about, more information about the major American TV network would have been ideal.
As good as the starter was the point was not made across to the audience. Make sure to link it to Comcast. And most importantly a plenary is important to summarise what was shared and learnt in the presentation.
